domain

The purchase was on a whim--- it was a sleepless night, one thing led to another, and I ended up purchasing kuchiki.net through Google. The domain is currently hosted by Teacake Hosting, who makes hosting extremely easy and smooth AND with affordable hosting plans.

Technically, tunethesky.com was my first domain, bought back in 2010 by my oldest brother for me. It was a resource website providing textures, patterns, brushes, and whatnot for graphic design needs. I briefly had a Voltage Inc fanlisting on that domain as well, but my interest in maintaining the website lessened and I ended up closing the domain in 2015.

So yes, though kuchiki.net is my second domain, it is the first one that I have purchased for myself. So I am considering this domain, my baby.

behind the name

"Kuchiki" is the surname belonging to two of my favorite animanga characters, Kuchiki Byakuya and Kuchiki Rukia from the series "Bleach" by Tite Kubo. I have been a fan of the series since 2004 and for the past decade, I have made and met many friends through this shared interest. If you have been following me on my social media outlets though, I have expressed my disappointment in how the series ended. I am not actively in the Bleach fandom anymore, but I still love my Kuchiki siblings. Thus deciding on purchasing a domain under "Kuchiki".

layout

You are viewing version THREE of the network. Released on October 16, 2020. It features Aerith and Cloud from "FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE". The layout was designed in Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 and coded in Notepad++.

background

I have been creating and coding websites as early as 2002 through free web-building services such as Geocities, Tripod, Freewebs... to name a few! Geocities was definitely my favorite though from these times, hah. I had a few shrines (Tenten from Naruto and Kamui Shirou from X TV) and fanlistings (Chiharu Eniwa from Girl Got Game and Voltage Inc), I owned years ago, but they were online for a fairly short time.

I watched my older siblings create their own websites and I believe that is what got me interested in web design and graphic design. Around this time, I also discovered videogame message boards (hello eyesonff.com and ffx2.net!) and really got into graphic designing. Making signatures and avatars--- Aaah, I'm starting to reminiscence.
